Showing Yellow Jackets
Posted: 09/21/09
For your viewing pleasure and knowledge-I've updated Yellow Jackets (see Bees, Wasps and Hornets) to include all species I have found in this area of Carbon County. Includes as many casts (Queen, Male, and Workers) as I have found.
Still missing 2 Queens is all.
1. Vespula vulgaris as I haven't found one
2. Dolichovespula maculata because Queens aren't as distinct in markings here as in other places-they look like normal large females. Not to worry, I keep hoping I'll find a more distinct looking Queen.
Also updated Camo. and Mimics. This is pretty neat!
And of course Moths 2009 and some other stuff.
I will have an updated Monarch Butterfly metamorphosis as soon as I figure out how to get the 40 photos in one photo spread. :]
Guess that's all for now.
