PAWildlife is a photo oriented website about wildlife of Pennsylvania. There are forums,member's galleries and a main gallery. The Northern cricket frog, which has been found in Luzerne County, was extirpated from 92 percent of its historical range in the state. There are six remaining locations that have become severely fragmented, adding to the risk of the species’ survival. Two of the remaining sites are located in heavily disturbed landscapes with uncertain futures. In addition, the agency is also considering elevating the Northern redbelly dace and the blue-spotted salamander as endangered. The agency is currently accepting public comment on the proposals.
