Posted: 16/08/2007 Subject: New Air pistol. |
I have put a couple of pictures on the Photoe Gallery of the new Air Pistol I have just bought, it is the Webley Typoon. This is a break barrel spring and it is the first they have made in 10 years.
I haven't had time to give it a true test yet, but will tell all, once I do.
Looks like a good night ahead for those of us that attend the South Wales Reptile and Exotic Animal group in Neath on the 6th of April. (For directions and further information se the SWRAEG link to the right ) We have Graeme Skinner giving us an illustrated talk, entitled, "Hardcore Herping
In Arizona" Should be lots of rattlers in this talk.
I have put a picture of our common frog on the Photoe Gallery. It has a herpes type blisters on its back. Please give it a viewing. If you see any frogs around like this, please report it to me. Frogs like this are appearing in ponds around the country,so keep a look out, It can be cured.
I have added a number of Airgun links to the left of the screen,if you are into airgunning, then a good site to go to for American airgun magazines is "Big Spring Guns" Doug Law can send you 2-3 magazines for $10 postage. I have The Airgun Digest that I had off him last year and am still reading it, it is around 282 pages long. Much more info' than found in a British Mag'.
WE had an interesting evening at the club last night (2nd of Feb) on animal nutrition, the talk was given by a vet' Ian Calvert. Too much maths though, I think it went above the heads of most of us if not all of us..
Steve Bolchover will be coming next month on the 2nd, and the talk is entitled, "I'm Fond of Spiders Too." He has given us talk before on beetles, hence the title.
I have given a full rundown of all the events we have at to come this year 2007 at the South Wales Reptile and Exotic Animal Group, at Neath on the SWRAEAG site opposite. Click on it for full information. Happy New Year all.
A Very Merry Christmas to all the visitors to the site and members. Hope you all get what you asked Santa for. And may we all have a happy and prosperouos new year.As soon as I get news of what we have in store for next years meetings at the SWRAEAG (see on right of screen) I will put it here.
I have added news of our meeeting in December and a bit about our last meeting on the SWRAEAG section on the right, just click on it to read it.
I have added a new link. A supplier of reptile equipment.
Here is the URL http://www.heatpacksuk/co.uk/images/reptiles.jpg
I have done a brief synopsis on our day visit with the club on the SWRAEAG site on the right, click on it to see the results, pretty disappointing too. |

Does anyone have any photoes of scorpions they can let me have with the common name and the latin if you know it please. |

Well I have succeeded in getting some of my Tarantulas and scorpions to eat large cockroaches. Madagascan giant Hissing roaches and Deaths heads. Some of them seem a bit afraid of the big guys, who can't blame them, but others go right for them. It doesn't take more than a couple though to completely fill the scorpions and they are bloated, so won't be able to feed too many or I will do them more harm than good. |
Posted: 07/26/05 Subject: New category for links |
I have added a new category to the links page. And I have added a new site, one on the American West. I am a great fan of Western Films and Western History. anyone out there have any links to add, come along. |
