New Additions being added-Species Range Maps-the snake maps are completed and loaded in the gallery--see"Range Maps: Snakes" These are generalized maps compiled from various sources. They give you an idea of what you might find in your neighborhood.

***AND I'm going to say this again-STOP killing snakes! Snakes are an important part of the environment and many are becoming endangered because people think they have to kill them! Snakes are NOT evil, they are NOT sitting in the woods waiting to bite people!!!!! Leave them alone and they will leave you alone!!!

It has come to my attention that it seems as though there are very few photos--but if you look on the right of this page you will see there are actually at this time over 2,800 photos. For some reason when I use sub-categories it subtracts and makes it look like there are less..

Each sub-category has MORE photos in it that were moved there...such as different colors, close-ups, babies, eggs, and so on.

Note-Sometimes there are photos out of place-not sure why-if you see any like that (for example: a mushroom posted under spiders) Please let us know. This site is work in progress so we're ironing out some errors. Please let us know of any errors you come across.
